I would like to cancel/ suspend my subscription to Adaptavist /TM4J for a few months? What happens to the existing data/ tests in the application? Ideally, I don't want to lose the work that has already be done.

We assume you are using Jira Cloud as you mentioned subscription? Unfortunately you cannot stop the TM4J subscription and restart it. Your information would be lost as you would have cancelled the subscription.
