Are you still experiencing problems syncing?
I will say that it doesn't have anything really to do with which wifi network you're on, more that you're signed into the same account on both of them and that in your iOS settings you have background refresh turned on so that the Trello app can refresh in the background.
Please let us know if it's still not working so that we can help a bit more. Maybe some screenshots of the two systems so that we can try and pinpoint the communication breakdown
