Got their answer, but I don't think it worked for me. It may work for you probably.......
"Our engineer team let me know that you should be able to fix this by toggling the notification to unread and then read again from the web app. This will normally clean the notifications as well on the mobile app"
My company was struggling with it since many of us are on the phone instead of a laptop, thus decided to switch to Asana. Overall, a more comprehensive and working solution for us. The phone notification was working well, I can archive and manage the notification well over there.
