Why are only 1 third of my custom fields displaying?

Previously, my custom fields were arrayed in 3 columns on my card. Since a couple of days ago, only the first column is showing, it spans the entire width of the card minus the width of the right-hand button margin, and when I click on the "Custom Fields" button in that margin, I can see all my custom fields listed... but not on the actual card itself, and there is also no way of scrolling left and right to the 'hidden' columns of custom fields.
