What can Trello Desktop only do that the web version can't

Hi Guys 

 

We have several staff using Trello at the moment asking to get desktop version installed  .  Is there any thing that only Trello Desktop can do that the web version can't

It puts an icon on your desktop. 
It lets you select a default board to go to.  Native notifications, system wide Trello shortcut key. Etc
