What trigger can I use when a member is added to a checklist item?
I am building a linked card from the checklist.(to minimize the number of cards on the board) Right now I can do it WHEN AN ITEM IS CHECKED But it should be when someone is assigned the item.
I also want to add the name of the person assigned to the new card. It would be helpful to know the variable name for the member name on the checklist item.

At this time, using assign as a Tigger on a checklist item isn't possible, but would definitely be nice, I agree! I'll pass the message on to our developers!
For the second part to work, I believe the Trigger has to be the assignee name, which is not possible. I will send this over to our developers as well.
