Sort within a checklist ( not Card sort)

Hello!

When I use a use list menu to "sort by due date", it only picks up card dates.

I often allocate due dates to checklist items instead of the card but when I sort, these cards drop to the bottom of this list and its easy to miss them.

Does anyone know if this SORT within a checklist function is available?

This really limits how functional checklist due dates are, is there any plan to include them?

*there was the same question in March 2023 as well. with no clear answer except a roadmap of future rollouts and just vague date there.

Thanks in advance

@Christine Renaud Williams

The last time I helped a client, I had to use a http request to a microservice that I built for him. He was writing a medical book.

Ohhhh- Thats wayyyy above my head. Hoping for something that is as easy as trello . ; )

Http request is an action called from within Trello automation. It is intended to you call upon 3rd party services that uses Trello Api to handle more complex requirements. You probably need a software developer to help build it.

Yikes thanks for the answer! - however, It needs to be easier than all that.
