I love the calendar Power-Up, but I'm having trouble seeing my whole day hour-by-hour visually.

Google tells me this strategy is simply called "Schedule Blocking", but I can't find a Power-Up on Trello that fits what I'm looking for.

Edit: I found Planyway, which seems to allow what I'm looking for, but is a bit complex.

I was hoping that Trello had its own simple version? It seems a rather basic function.

Second Edit:

Ok, I installed Planyway, but when I try to use it I get the message:

"Unable to load Planyway Power-Up. Please allow third-party cookies for planyway.com in your browser settings, refresh page and try again."

I'm on Firefox and added https://planyway.com to my "Exceptions for Enhanced Tracking Protection" list, then restarted Firefox, went to Trello, tried to use Planyway, and got the same error.

I also manually went to Planyway.com, cliked the shield, and turned off all protections, then restarted my computer. No dice. What gives?

I see that @Maria answered a similar question, but I don't think you can direct message people here, so I've tried by tagging your name :)

Third Edit: I got Planyway to work! I needed to have BOTH Planyway AND Trello under my exceptions list.

I am still looking for/open to other Time Blocking Power-Ups, especially if they are made by Trello. :)

Hi Ari, welcome to the community!

Glad to hear you got the Power-up working in the end! :)

While I'm not 100% sure if it's exactly what you're after, Trello Premium has a built in board calendar view: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/workspace-calendar-view/

While similar to the Calendar Power-up, it has some improvements and enhancements over the Calendar Power-up. One thing worth noting is it adds the 'Day' view, instead of just week / month view.

As an example, I have some events on my test board with due dates and times defined - and the day view displays a nice clean summary of the day's events by hour:

You'll also notice that top event 'Clean bench' doesn't have a due time defined (only due date) so it just stays at the top.

If you want to give this a try in your Workspace, feel free to start a free trial using this link (no credit card required or obligation to stay): https://trello.com/en/free-trial

Let me know how things go!

Yes, thank you!! I do have Premium, so it's nice to know this is included, I was really scratching my head there!

I prefer the visual accuracy of Planyway, because I like to quickly visually ascertain where I have "gaps" in my schedule in which I can add travel times or fill in with other activities, so I will continue using Planyway.

But this does make the "daily to-do, in order" way easier to see, too.

I had seen the Calendar view, but not the "Day" view. Very helpful and handy. :) Thanks again

Edit: I've realized Planyway also does not really visualize schedule gaps, I suppose my workaround would be manually entering a card called "dead time" or something...so I suppose it comes down to the big widget it provides as the main advantage over Trello...

Anyway I've got the tools. To productivity!!

Edit 2: Oh wait yes it does!! IN THE DAY VIEW!! YEEEAAAAAHHHHH
