Search not working

Question

Hi,

I am having trouble with the search function of THIS board.

This is a list of trees on an orchard. Each tree has a unique ID number such as 4a, 2d, 6c, etc. But when I search for those ID's nothing comes up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Brian Miller I was just offering some advance search items to try while you were waiting for support to reply. Thanks for the link, I also did a search and nothing came up from your board. Have you tried using the search on the main page where you see all your boards, instead of in the board itself? It may be a work around until you hear back from support.

Why would I need to add a special operator when searching? I just want to do a simple search of everything on the board.

Regardless, I tried using the special operator "name:" and it still didn't work.

Did you try? Please try so that you know if your suggestion addresses the issue or not?

Hi @Brian Miller have you tried using special operators for your search? For example,

description:, checklist:, comment:, and name: - Returns cards matching the text of card descriptions, checklists, comments, or names. For example, comment:"FIX IT" will return cards with “FIX IT” in a comment.
