Hello, community! I'm a new user with a specific goal that I'm looking for Trello to do and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I want a task, such as "Clean Bathroom" every 4 days. This will be a repeatable task but I don't want it just recurring every 4 days. On day 5 and after, I want the task to be late/overdue. When I finally complete the task, I would like the task to be recreated with the completion date, 4 days later.
How would I go about doing this?
Thank you!
Hey @Ken Lambert
I recently wrote about how I do this with Butler: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Using-Trello-Butler-to-track-home-maintenance-tasks/ba-p/1622658
It sounds like you want a rule like the one described here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/New-Year-New-Automations-What-s-New-With-Butler/bc-p/1623215#M1315
That will move the task by X days from completion, rather than X days from due (which is what the ones described in my article does)
Hope that helps,
Felix
Felix, that is perfect. In fact, I'm doing this for the very same reason! Thank you so much!
