I built the inquiry management system on Trello.
I manage the inquiry by inquiry number which is put by myself.
Customer inquiry is come from E-mail.
If Trello receive the e-mail, inquiry card is automatically created.
But the inquiry number is put by my self...
I want to put the number automatically by Butler.
It's like {max value of [inquiry number] field on the board +1 } is put to the new card.
Does anyone knows how to command it to Trello / Butler?
@Shohei Mitsuhashi if I want a unique identifier I just use the short id of the card. If you make it lower case the search still works to, and you really only need the first few numbers/letters to make it unique so if you're referring to a ticket you just have to say "zpq" rather than "zpq2qiwu"
@Iain Dooley Thank you for your response. This is nice idea!
however. this number is migrated from old system and we don't want to change the numbering way (just count up the number from exist maximum number)
Thank you very much anyway!
Sincerely

@Shohei Mitsuhashi well I don't think you could do this with Butler, but we could write a function to do this for you on our BenkoBot platform:
