We are using Trello to manage the workflow of our carpet installation and remodeling business. The timeline is as follows: Customer orders product, product arrives, job is scheduled, job is complete. The important date for us is "job scheduled" for the calendar. Then we can switch to this view and hopefully see the upcoming weeks schedule and availability. We had been doing this manually before with magnetic cards.
Right now the custom fields are not included with the Calendar view.
As a possible alternative, you could explore using a Power-Up like Planyway which I believe can include custom fields:
