How to return the old sidebar?

Just switched to a new sidebar to give it a try. Unfortunately, my normal workflow is to switch between few tables in different workspaces, so new sidebar is much more mouse movement and clicks for me since I can't anymore keep my favorites tables on the left. Is it possible to switch to the old sidebar interface?

Welcome to the Community. I came across your question as I was responding to one of the same from another member on the Community. And I know this has been a bug bear for a so many Trello users.

The short answer is there is no way to remove the new sidebar. Trello's blog from August on this change states:

The new navigation will begin rolling out at the beginning of September, and we will begin by offering an opt-in experience for everyone that is psyched to make the move over to the improved experience. For anyone who needs a bit more time to get comfortable with change, you can stay on the current experience until the end of September, when we'll migrate everyone over.

Unfortunately, Trello have now moved into the phase that all users are being pushed to the new navigation, even those who have opted out. This is to ensure all users are using the latest version of Trello.

It shouldn't be this hard to switch back to the old layout.
