How to return standard text formatting? Previously, it was possible to cancel using share off --> turn off. And now that too has been cancelled. For what? Why are you changing something that the user doesn’t want? This is a stupid action just like Microsoft with Word and Excel
Nobody even answers. Would you at least give some kind of answer instead of just ignoring me?
What's the result? Will there still be no answer? “Use the functionality and don’t whine” - is this suggested?

Hi @Александр! A few months ago, we released new changes to the text editor of card descriptions. Before rolling it out to all Trello users, we allowed them to turn on and off the new editor changes in case the new editor didn't have all the features they were looking for. But since the new editor already has access to all the features the old editor had, we've permanently rolled out the new editor to all users and removed the option to switch back to the old experience.
I understand changes like this one aren't easy, but if you have any feedback about the new editor you'd like to share, send it, and I'll gladly hand it over to our product and engineering team for future improvements. We appreciate your understanding, and happy holidays!

Is this effective as of today? I must be misunderstanding, because I turned it off a few minutes ago with these steps:

I see. In the new editor, if I paste some text that contains markdown, it is automatically formatted. But I'm not always pasting markdown into the editor: sometimes I'm pasting code or plaintext that contains markdown by pure coincidence. For example, I tried to paste this Regular Expression into a comment:
test(\(.*, async )\(.*\n.*setNativeDialog.*\n.*\n.*\}\).*
The new editor modified this string, removing pairs of asterisks and italicizing the substrings within. This changes the meaning of my code.
The old editor pastes my code as shown above; the code retains its original and correct meaning. How do you do this in the new editor?

Hey @Bawdy Ink Slinger! You're absolutely right! I was thinking about an option we used to have directly on the editor that would allow users to go back to the previous editor without going to the "Labs" page. But yeah, you can revert it back by going to https://trello.com/u/me/labs and then switching off the option "WYSIWYG Editing".
