How to eliminate HTML tags coming in from email?

I am new to Trello and can't seem to find a solution to my specific problem.  I am using two web forms that are emailed to different Trello boards.  The forms are using HTML to format the look on the website.  Unfortunately, when the form is then emailed to the Trello board, the card backs include the HTML tags in the description.  Is there a way I can eliminate those tags?  I can live with losing the format if I can at least get rid of the tags.  If there is a way to convert the HTML format to Markdown format, that would be ideal.

The issue has been fixed in newer version of trello!
