Exporting Data

Rachel Bethea November 18, 2021

Is there a way to export all of the cards that we have in an excel spreadsheet?  My manager wants to see how much the platform is being used and how often. With that, something that tells me the title of each open and completed item with the date that is was requested or closed.  Has anyone ever downloaded something like that?  If so, how?

Thanks

Hi @Rachel Bethea

We have reviewed the options for exporting data from Trello in our review of reporting options. Dashcards also gets a mention in our more flexible trello reporting options section so do check out the other options there.

With Blue Cat Reports specifically https://trello.com/power-ups/5d9c90aa18965066fcd44730/reports-by-blue-cat there are a few ways to report on completed and requested cards

But if all you want is a simple export, the built in export option detailed in the first link above is probably the easiest place to start :)

Hope that helps,

Robin

@Rachel Bethea

Try this. Create a board for you manager, and use Dashcards to create a dashboard for him. There are not charts but each card will track some parameters that is of interest to your manager. It can be for one board, all boards or all boards with titles containing “Project”.
