Evernote Power up - edit note

How can I open an Evernote note to edit? Either opening in Evernote desktop app or web app.

Right now clicking the note link only opens the note's public and readonly view, which is really not that useful.

This is actually how the Power-Up is currently designed to work.

What happens under the hood is that when you attach an Evernote note to a card via the Power-Up, Evernote updates the sharing settings of the note and makes it so that anyone with the link can view the note. This is similar to the in-Evernote flow of creating a shared link:



The intention of this flow was to enable the sharing of notes created by only a handful of users with all of the members on a Trello team, regardless of whether they had Evernote accounts or not, or editing permission.

If you'd prefer to get the editable version of the note for you, you'll want to attach the link manually, and not use the card button. Evernote should still pick up the link to format it properly!
