I know this has been asked several times before but I'm getting nowhere using all the guidance that's been provided so far. What am I doing wrong? I just want to email various reports through that list out cards with card name links so they can be easily reviewed in Trello. The pattern I've used is:
pattern "\"- [{cardname}](cardlink) - {carddescription}\"",
I've tried extra spaces, removing " and \ and removing card description. Although I get the report of cards there's no hyperlinks or bulleted list which I think the hyphen relates to.
Help me out please!
Hi @Helen McDonald Great question. I have something similar set up for my team here as well. It's a simple fix. Change the paratheses to curly brackets (as shown below) and that should do the trick.
{cardlink}
I hope this helps!
Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I've now removed the pattern completely and the report that arrives is exactly the same. So something clearly isn't right with the whole pattern I'm using. I've followed all the instructions I can find and have a reasonable but very basic understanding of syntax, I just can't get it to work!

It's important to remember that there is always a solution. Below is what I use and it works great.
Card Name ➡️ {cardname}\nCurrent List ➡️ {cardlistname}\nCard Link ➡️ {cardlink}\n

thanks, I went through to support in the end as the links weren't loading to the report I was generating. I'm now clear on that, just the formatting to sort through
