Driving Butler using data in a table?

Is there a way to use Butler employing data that’s more than a single variable?  For example, when projects get to a certain point, I’m going to need to apply a bunch of dates to a bunch of Trello cards.  The dates are calculated using an Excel  spreadsheet which produces 2 columns:

date   card name

Is there a way to put this data into a form that Butler could use to add a date to each associated card?  Or would I need to look at using the API?  Or perhaps creating a power up?
