Custom Print Cards

Question

I'd like to print cards but only specific info from them.

Specifically, I want to print out the title, certain custom fields, and certain attachments.

Right now, I'm using the Agile cards powerup, which is just about perfect, except for the fact that it prints out all attachments, and in order of most recently attached to the card. I've reached out and they aren't updating this powerup anymore.

I've had to resort to printing 2 pages: 1 with the title and custom fields, and one of the attachment. Ideally, this could all be printed out together on a single page, but for now we're stapling the 2 pages to each other.

Anyone know how I can save paper and staples here? Thanks!

Hi Jake, no worries!

Upon checking with the team and doing some further research, I don't think there's a straightforward way to print in a way that combines one attachment with the custom fields. Definitely acknowledge that native printing is a little bit limited at present.

There are a couple of Chrome Extensions available that might be worth exploring - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/trello%20print - That said, we're not able to endorse or provide support for any third-party extensions (since we don't work with them directly).

I think there may be just a little confusion here. I'm not looking to print multiple attachments. Rather, I'd like to pin point one attachment out of the many and print it out with the custom fields and title.

I've looked through those printing powerups and I don't believe any of them offer this functionality :/

For our use, the fewer steps in getting an attachment on the same page as the card title and custom fields, the better.

Hi Jake, makes sense! A couple of things come to mind here that you could combine. I realise this is by no means perfect, but might help as a starting point.

There are a couple of other third-party Power-ups available that support printing in a better format than what's offered natively: https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=print - You could take a look at those and see if they achieve what you need and allow configuring custom fields on what's printed.

If the above doesn't have options that incorporate attachments, one approach you could take would be to find a Power-up that allows downloading all attachments on a card at once: https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=download. This would save having to download them one by one, and would mean that you could combine them into one file on your PC. For example, use something that combines PDFs together.

Because many of these services are provided by separate companies, outside of Trello, any costs associated with their products are also separate. We're also not able to endorse or provide support for any third-party Power-ups (since we don't work with them directly).
