Cannot open cards to edit

I can't open cards on any boards for editing. I've cleared cache and browsing history. I have no 3rd party Trello extensions installed. Chrome is up to date.

    It gives you an error or simply does not allow you to edit, a screenshot would be useful to help you

When I click on the card, nothing happens other than a quick pop up message saying 'waiting for trello' then nothing.

Oddly, they open fine on my desktop, but not on my laptop...weird.
