Error message I'm getting: "Something went wrong while attempting to validate your credentials".
The events:
1. Website logged me out for some "non-secure" reason and asked me to change my password.
2. I changed my password via the website, which in turn logged me out of the Trello app from my android.
3. Now I can't log in via the app despite having uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and after having changed my password again via the website.
Can someone help me with this? I can't even use my android device to contact support because it asks me to log in to Atlassian which again keeps giving the above error. I've used both Chrome and Mi Browser from my android device for this and it still didn't work.
The answer given here is totally and utterly absurd.
"In order to log in you have to configure your MOBILE PHONE to use XYZ browser, and etc etc etc".
this is totally unacceptable. We use trello as an integral part of our business, and we want people to be able to use the app on their phones.
Can you please fix this so that the app functions as a standalone application and does not require gross reconfiguration and invasion of personal space to function.
please. Thank you so much
Hi Kaye, sorry to hear that you are able to login into the Andriod app.
The mobile app login authorization happens via the browser.
Please set Chrome to be your default browser on your Samsung mobile device following the steps here:
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95417?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid
Then enable cookies for chrome as shown below:

Check Google's documentation for more about cookies in Chrome.|
Then try logging in again and let me know if you still experience issues logging in.
I hope this is helpful.
