Can a task within advanced checklist for reminder

When entering a task within advanced checklist, can you get a reminder in your personal ( e.g. Google calendar) for a reminder?  If not, how do you get reminder without going in and looking?

@Donna Story as far as I know the advanced checklist due dates aren't integrated with the calendar powerup yet and you don't get notifications, but they show up in the "your items" section of the "home" view:
