Automation: Unarchive on due date not working ?

Hi,

I'm trying to unarchive a card on a due date.

After the unarchive i need to move the card to another board.

I've set up the automation - but it doesnt seem to work.

Here's how i set it up:

Trigger

the moment a card is due

Actions

unarchive the card
move the card to the top of list XXXXXX
on board XXXXXX

post comment XXXXXXX

Any suggestions on how to get this one going ? Could it be a bug in Trello ?

Hi @Chris Rasmussen

I don't think it is a bug, I think it is by design.  Theoretically an archived card is in a dormant state and thus those triggers won't work.  With an archived card, you can unarchive it when a triggercard finds the card but you can't trigger off of it in archive state.

I would suggest you create a private board called "Archive" and send the cards you are currently archiving there.  This will give you exactly the same functionality that you are looking for.
