With PRODUCT ADMIN access, unable to add/edit components

That's pretty clear - you are using an account that does not have product admin rights.

I am able to grant others access, but I donno why my account has locks to add/edit components, strange!

I see Product Admin next to my user ID, as per screenshot I attached above. Not sure who can help.

That badge means you have some product admin rights, not all of them. You'll need to talk to your admins about getting the product admin rights you need for that component set.
