What rule dives the prioritization withing the mail queue

Would it be a setting that would help urgent notifcation to be set prior the other?

We face delay in sending email. Some mails takes more that 30 mn to be sent  even when the queue is less 50 notifications

Would some context which slow donw the notifcation from JIRA side? (distribution list, number users notified, notificaiton sent by automation, script runner etc.)

Chris here with Statuspage support. Our notification pipeline should be speedy in going out to the recipient's mail server for delivery. I see however you do mention notifications from the JIRA side. Can you confirm if this is for Statuspage or Jira?
