and the repository exists.

It looks like you have a network issue and you are unable to connect to btbucket.org?

Thanks for helping me with this i am unable to connect to the bitbucket i have checked my network settings they are fine and by the way i'm using linux OS

Do you have any solution to this ?

Can you use a browser to access https://bitbucket.org and can you SSH to bitbucket.org ?

If not do you have a proxy server or firewall in the way?
