Why am I being pushed to download version 2 of source tree?

Version 2 has serious problems; the icons are messed up and the animations are distraction and annoying. It does not respect its own settings which specifically says: "don't prompt me about new sourcetree installations". I like version 1.9 and i am fine with it but every day it asks me to update and today it magically updated without my consent. Appreciate that this is free but there is no point shoving broken untested software forcefully on me.

Hi Manish, in SourceTree there's no such thing as a forced update, they always require user confirmation. SourceTree will only be automatically installed if you checked the box to specify that. Do you have that box enabled?

Regarding the icons and animations, our developers are already working on it.
