When copying branch name for a local branch, why does it include "origin/" before the branch name?

I regularly use the "Copy Branch Name to Clipboard" menu item (right click on a branch).

For local branches, it always adds "origin/" in front of the branch name. I can understand that behaviour if I was working with a remote branch, but I'm not.

It super annoying as I always have to delete the "origin/" before using in shell.

Any chance this can be reviewed to see if its expected and bug fixed if its not?

Cheers

Dave

I am also facing this on Mac version 4.1.0. Please prioritise to fix this on Mac as well.

Hi, is this feature only fixed on windows version?

I'm a Mac user, and it's super annoying..

It should at least have an option to include or remove such prefixes.
