Sourcetree version 2.0.20... Font Hard to Read

I recently upgraded Sourcetree version 1.5... to 2.0.20... and fine the font much harder to read.  It appears slightly smaller but worse than that it is less black and looks slightly blurry.  The letter 'm' in particular often looks like a grey mess.

Even worse than this though, whenever you select a new file in the "Pending files" window the file changes slide into the "diff" window from the bottom, which is a perfectly fine animation, however the 'slide' slows down at the end and takes a surprisingly long time to actually come to a stop, and the 'diff text' appears very much out of focus for a few seconds before it finally settles. What is with that?  It just looks terrible!
