SourceTree is diff-ing unchanged hunks

I didn't change this, it is unchanged. 

It also does this for whitespace in the middle of the file. 

 

Is there some sort of setting I'm missing for super-aggressive diff's? is this a bug? Am I somehow bad at Git?

This widget could not be displayed.

You can set it to ignore whitespace differences by clicking on the little gear to the right and selecting "Ignore whitespace"

The particular change being displayed there (highlighted badly) is whether or not there is a blank line at the end of the file. As Tim said, it shouldn't display if you ignore whitespace.
