I am using SourceTree 3.3.7 and a colleague of mine is now trying to install SourceTree 3.3.8 (for whatever reason my installation of SourceTree won't find the update to 3.3.8 when I check for updates - but this always has been a problem with this tool...). We are using Bitbucket Server in our company, and during the installation process he is asked to login. When he tries to, the login api returns "Failed to check login for user XXXX ...":
It is not the Bitbucket login itself, credentials are correct and he still can login through a webbrowser. The Problem seems to be the Login API which SourceTree uses.
