Is it possible to open a submodule in a new tab instead of a new window?

SourceTree on Mac opens repositories and submodules in new windows. While it is possible to merge windows into different tabs, it would be really nice if submodules could be opened in a new tab of the same window. Is there an option I missed?

Hi @Mischael Schill,

There is a setting in macOS that enables this type of functionality.

With it set to Always then you should get expected behavior across all your applications. There is not a specific override to do this only in Sourcetree currently. You can vote on or file a new ticket via our public tracker for us to prioritize accordingly.
