Is SourceTree no longer supported on windows?

John G May 27, 2016

In the Post https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/214099, a reply from Aaron Bauman on May 25, 2016 tersely states "Windows is no longer supported, and this won't be fixed:". The issue he was responding to (SRCTREEWIN-1513) is now closed with a comment from Michael Minns stating that the issue is for a version you no longer support.

Are you officially no longer supporting Windows?

Aaron misunderstood the auto-post that was applied to that bug.

Following the release of SourceTree 1.8, Atlassian decided to close any pre-existing bugs because there were many that had been fixed without noticing (or closing) related bug reports, or no longer applied.

SourceTree for Windows is definitely still supported, with version 1.9 currenty in beta testing (https://blog.sourcetreeapp.com/2016/05/04/sourcetree-early-access/).

That's great news!

Thanks!
