External diff not working on specific file extension

I have written an external diff custom function that works in another sourcetree repository on *.slx files. When I try and run the same external diff on an *.slx file in a different repository nothing happens. I have simplified the function to just output the two files being compared and it works as long as the extension is not *.slx. What is stopping these *.slx from
Being processed in this repository?

Solved! File that was being compared had a space in the filename and so Sourcetree was unable to pass the path correctly.
