I know Source Tree works fins with HTTPS and SSH as I have that up and running without an issue. But, is it possible to use HTTP as we want to set up an internal intranet host that does not have public access.
Yes, http works fine. Are you running into any issues?
Yes mate. We have installed Bonobo to use as our internal GIT Server but Source Tree keeps complaining that http:// protocol is not supported when we enter the URL for cloning our repo. I had a similar issue first time I setup SSH, but once I removed "ssh://" from the url Source Tree accepted it ok.

Not sure what we were doing wrong but it appears to be working now. We recreated the repo; and users; and after a few failed authentication attempts it went through. I think IIS might have recycled the application pools etc.
