I'd guess because a thing with no context only matters to people who have imagined, but not communicated, that context.
It's 2020, and the statement "it's so fluffy that I could die, but I probably will if I do it" is still true since I first thought it in 2010.
I think you need to explain this a lot more.

It's sad that this basic functionality to cherry-pick multiple commits at once is still not implemented. It was discussed two years ago already.
