Can't commit to submodule with SourceTree 2.7.1(159)

Wang Yang February 28, 2018

My device: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) OS Version: macOS 10.13.3 I have a repo with a git submodule. I opened the repo page with the latest SourceTree(2.7.1 - 159), and double clicked the "submodules" tab on the left side bar of the SourceTree window. Then the submodule window comes out. I modified some file of the submodule's, and come back to the SourceTree window. The file can't be operated by sourcetree. P.S: SourceTree2.1 can handle this situation.

The description is a little complicated.

To say it simply: Current version of SourceTree  can not commit to submodules.

Please fix this.

Please see the screen shots.

The versions above 2.1 of SourceTree are all incorrect.
