Hello,
I'd like to know if this plugin is still supposed to work and how you can get a report: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.bamboo.plugins.jmeter-aggregato.atlassian-bamboo-jmeter-aggregator
I found the plugin configuration but nothing is generated, my Bamboo 4.2 panel doesn't match the screenshots. I'm using JMeter 2.7, I don't know if it's supported, there is no documentation. There is no error at the end of my plan, nothing in the log, it's like the plugin isn't doing anything.
I can see a Jira opened one year ago asking for documentation update but no answer so I guess it's not gonna happen.
Any help would be appreciated :-)
Thanks!
Hi Guillaume,
If you are still experiencing issues with JMeter Aggregator add-on:
1. Please make sure you are using the latest available version for the Bamboo release you are running.
2. Watch this ticket for issues related to the "Load Test Reports" tab: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-14896
3. Make sure JMeter output is in xml format as looking into the code is heavily based on xml parsing.
Please open a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.comif you are still facing issues.
Thanks!
Best,
Sepideh
Hello Sepideh,
Yes we were still experiencing issues, and I've tried a lot of plugin/Bamboo combinations, starting by using the latest, and it never worked. While debugging it I found there was a NPE somewhere (when displaying the JMeter samplers list), and someone in our team ended up modifying the plugin. The reports tab is now on the Job panel but works. I don't know if Atlassian is interested in these modifications.
And yes our JMeter is configured to generate XML reports.
According to the reviews here https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/jmeterAggregatorI am not the only one having issues with this plugin. I'm surprised it is periodically released without any one noticing issues :-)
Regards,
Guillaume
