OpenID connect support for API integration

Hi,

we would like to maintain our OpsGenie configuration using https://www.pulumi.com/docs/intro/cloud-providers/opsgenie/ ran from our Bitbucket pipelines.

We would also like to avoid handling secrets, so we would like to apply an equivalent of https://bitbucket.org/blog/bitbucket-pipelines-and-openid-connect-no-more-secret-management for OpsGenie API calls from Bitbucket pipelines.

Is it possible to have OpsGenie accept OpenID connect providers for API integration identities? If not, is it planned, and if so - what would be the ETA for this feature?

Thanks,

Filip Zyzniewski

Hi Filip,

This is Darryl, Opsgenie Support. smile

Thank you for raising this topic.

Unfortunately, this is not feasible in the current design and I have raised a feature request on your behalf.

The ticket ID is OGS-3845, it doesn't provide visibility externally but we will keep you posted in this thread.

Please note that our Product team reviews all FR together and they prioritize those with higher demand to be implemented first and any FR will take months until is ready since it needs to go through Design, Development, Testing, and rolling out to Production.

Thank you very much again for helping us make Opsgenie better!

Kind regards,
Darryl Lee
