Manual alert that multiple assignees can acknowledge

Hello Team...I want to periodically test the Opsgenie alerting system by creating a manual alert with all the members of the oncall team (to ensure all can effectively use and ack alerts via their mobile app). I can create a manual alert via the Opsgenie website but once the first guy acks ...none of the others that are alerted can ack the manual alert via the mobile app. Is there a way to create a manual alert that wont ack untill all those alerted have acknowledge via mobile app? Thank you in advance for your help

@Rob , this would require more work than just acknowledging, but you could have your staff leave the alert open, but add a note to it with their name. This would let you know who responded, along with times and order of response. It's just not as easy as simply acknowledging it.

If you're on a plan with OEC script support, you could write a script that watches for the note-add event on alerts of that type, pulls the list of note authors, and compares them with the members of the responding team. If all had responded, it would close the alert.

Hi @Rob ,

Unfortunately there isn't a way for Opsgenie to keep an alert open until a certain amount of users ack an alert - such as all users who were notified ack the alert.

Once an alert is ack'd, it'll remain in that state (unless notifications are restarted through the repeat of an escalation policy, or through a restart notification policy).

It might make sense for each user to un-ack the alert via their mobile device after they ack the alert. Then have each user run through the process of ack'ing the alert after.
