Can I create custom fields in Opsgenie incidents

Is there a way to modify the fields in the Incidents?

For example, I'd like to pull the Tags from a drop-down list. I'd also like to embed a link to a document describing best practices for incident creation

Hi JP,

The tags for the incident come from the alert so there is no way to add a drop-down list to select from, but you can manually add new ones directly to the incident. You can also use an incident creation rule to add additional tags automatically. Adding a link to a document for best practices can also be done with an incident creation rule. inc_rule.png

Does this also mean that the fields in the incidents are frozen and can't be customized?

The fields that are built into the incidents can't be changed but you can add your own fields with the Extra Properties.

Got it, thanks!
