Unable to add group in Global Permissions

Gopalakrishnan April 24, 2019

I have a custom group, but when I try to add that group in Global permissions under Add permission the group is not listing out, I have to give permission for Browse Users, since the user in the group not able to use @ mention.

Hi Gopalakrishnan,

I've tested on my local environment creating different groups with and without users, but it's working normally.
As tested, can you create another group and try to add on global permissions?
Are you the only admin facing this issue?

Angélica

Hi,

Thanks for replying, and sorry for delayed reply. I created a group and tried to add that in Global Permission scheme, but its not getting populated in the Group drop down list.

Is there any other restriction I have to check?

Thanks.

Also, I tried in project permissions too since the user I wanted to give access is an external users, basically he is not having @mention option so that he can't see the users.

My main goal is to give "Browse Users" access to use @mention

Thanks.

Have you tested creating a test group to add on the permission?
Is there other admin who can test adding this group?
If you are an administrator, this is the permission that you need to be able to add the group to global permission.
