Hi, our Jira shows error when we upload txt file attachment. The error message is "File xxx.txt was not uploaded. You are not authorized, session has expired or connection is lost". But user has permission to upload attachment and only txt file shows error message. Does anyone know why?

Hi @Jason Liu ,

It is probably related with the txt file that you try to upload.

Did you try any other txt file that created same way? Also, did you try to create new text file from completely different method and upload that one?

And also, logging is a useful tool for Atlassian apps. You may open the log file (atlassian-jira.log) directly from the server (or from the "View Log" feature in the Jira) and try the operation again. The error message should probably give more details about the problem.

If you can try these things and you still fail (or wonder why it is not work at first time) please provide us more details with screenshots and error messages so we can help you better.

Hi Salih, problem happens to only one text file. Is there any restriction that text file should not contain any kind of content? We checked log and there's nothing about the error.

No, content is not important but the file may be corrupted (yes, even if you can open it). What about access logs, can you see any request has 400/500 reponse?
