JIRA and XRAY: Set up test coverage

I'm trying to set-up the test coverage section on an Epic. All the steps I see are to go to Admin>Project Settings>App>XRay Settings>Test Coverage. I get to XRay Settings and there is no Test Coverage. I get the following:

Xray Settings

• Test Step Custom Fields
• Test Run Custom Fields
• Parameter Values Lists
• Remote Jobs Trigger
• Document Generator

Good day!!

Yes, you see these xray settings on the specific project settings. If you are using datacenter environment then to associate test coverage section on an Epic, you have to login jira from admin account and proceed to Manage apps settings -> Xray -> Issue Type Mapping.

Here you will see three columns.

1) Available Issue types

2) Requirement issue types

3) Defect Issue types

You need to move the "Epic" issue type to Requirement Issue types column to associate and save it. 

Now you will be able to add Test coverage on the Epic issue type and work on it. :)
