Issue Types Don't Appear in Backlog

Daniel Bensadoun July 4, 2024

Hi,

I use a company-managed project and a Scrum board.

In the Backlog, I don't see issues of certain types: Bugs & Tasks even though such tickets exists in the project with the Backlog status.

Hi @Daniel Bensadoun, and welcom to the Atlassian Community.

It can be several reasons for issue types are not shown in the backlog. You might first confirm that the issue types are included in the Board filter.

If you navigate to the board settings, you will under General see something like this

If you press the "Edit filter query", do you see the issue type in the result list?

When pressing "Edit filter query", I see all relevant types of issues in the result list.

OK, if the filter displays the issue types missing, we know the types are comming into the board though still not shown.

When you state "in the backlog", do you mean the board named Backlog or do you have a column named backlog in the Active sprints board?

@Daniel Bensadoun Welcome Are you sure that are not assigned to any sprint ? Are you sure that filters are correcto for those issues ? Are you sure that the condition to show the issues in backlog are meet ?
