There is an Issue Type in Jira that name keeps reverting back to another (wrong) Issue Type name after a few hours of changing it on the app. The description is fine.
In the DB it appears correct.

We have ran multiple re-indexes which havent helped.

Any advice would be great.
Thanks

You need to talk to the other people who have admin access to your Jira.  One of them is renaming the issue type.

Not sure why you're laughing, that is the only way to change the name of a transition.

Hi @Rob B

One cause could be that one of the installed add-on/app is changing the value.

What is the value that you enter and what is it updating it to?

It used to be 'Outbound Transaction' but it changed itself to 'B11 Non-Market', which is the name of another issue type. The description has not changed.
