I am attempting to add custom fields upon task creation, and having the default 'Description' field always on at the top of the list will offer users and easy way to ignore the custom fields - defeating the purpose of the custom fields. Is there any way to hide the Description field (or rename it) for all project users? (I have seen the 'Configure fields' feature upon issue creation and do not trust all users to hide their personal view of the Description field)
@John Slocum Welcome to community. Edited first answer as I thought this was service desk at first. The summary and description are required on software issues. Next gen projects also do not have required fields yet so you will only be able to enforce it through process.
