How to stop converting colon to sad smile

George January 19, 2018

While writing Issue description or comment me and my colleges often use colons. But after pressing ↓, in converts to sad smile automatically. It's amazingly irritating and we don't know how to stop that madness.
Can anyone give me any suggestions, how to stop that?

So, Jira converts this:

Steps to reproduce:

1. one

2. two

into this:

Steps to reproduce:(

1. one

Why don't you just use "return" instead of "↓" ?

I use return while entering text. But if I want to move cursor to reach necessary line - I need to use arrow keys.

Ah, I understand. This happens when you edit an existing text.

There is already an issue for that:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-64989

Maybe you want to vote for that or watch the issue.

Thanks, that's just what we need!
