Good Morning,
I am new to JIRA and have been adding issues and associating them with upcoming releases. I'm curious if there is any functionality that allows for a 'testing' process of items associated with a release. I'm looking for a way for notes/comments to be made specifically about if the issue was resolved or not during pre-release testing.
I figure I can use comments to accomplish this, but I still am getting to know JIRA and thought there might be a better feature/function that I have not yet become familiar with.
Hi @Brandon
Out of the box no, unless you create your own process with a new "test" issue type and add certain conditions and validations to it. If you want you can try 3rd party test management apps, like Zephyr or Xray. There are more on the marketplace for you to search.
